Community Health

Before Tahlene went on a dream adventure traveling around Australia for 12 months with her family, she partnered with Redland City Council to deliver community health improvement programs that were in line with initiatives such as Swap It Don’t Stop It and Lift for Life.  Her community work extended as volunteer speaker for the Heart Foundation, a Group Leader for the Heart Foundation’s low cost exercise program Heart Moves, and on several occasions she was invited to present food education for the Diabetic support group.

In the future Tahlene is looking forward to extending her community health projects to work with Secondary Schools and Youth Justice to deliver life changing health and well-being practices to our teenagers.
